SEG MRI3-IHE - The digital multifunctional relay

The digitial multifunctional relay MRI3-IHE has been designed as a universal time overcurrent protection relay with evaluation of the 2nd harmonic for transformers. The relay gives a complete thermal characteristic of the electrical equipment to be protected taking into account its initial load. The MRI3-IHE furthermore provides a universal time overcurrent and earth fault protection with the following functions: It is equipped with the following functions: • Two-step overload protection with evaluation of the 2nd harmonic • Display of the measured values for 1st and 2nd harmonic • independent (Definite) time overcurrent relay. • inverse time overcurrent relay with selectable characteristics, • two-element (low and high set) earth fault protection with definite or inverse time characteristics.
